Over the past thirty years, Aid to Artisans (ATA) has changed the lives of thousands of artisans through its “Market Link” program of product design, production and business skills.

In developing countries, handcrafts continue to provide an important source of income, especially in rural areas and especially for women. ATA and its Trade Network enable the self-sustainability of artisan groups by linking them with markets and supporting artisans in product development and design, business development, market entry, and working with clients.

By creating jobs and increasing income for craftspeople worldwide, ATA serves to strengthen and create sustainable craft businesses and help to preserve the diversity of our global cultures.
