Housing Works

Since 1990, Housing Works has provided housing, health care, advocacy, job training and vital support services to the community of 30,000 New Yorkers with HIV/AIDS who are either homeless or live in severely inadequate housing.

Through innovative advocacy and direct service programs, Housing Works reaches the most vulnerable and under-served among those affected by the AIDS epidemic in New York City. Housing Works provides a comprehensive range of services— including employment opportunities in its own businesses—designed to help individuals gain stability, independence and dignity, and to improve their overall health.

Housing Works is dedicated to developing and refining a self-sustaining model of housing, employment and advocacy for homeless people with HIV/AIDS. ABC Home & Planet Foundation is proud and honored to support Housing Works’ efforts and their mission of providing home for the homeless.
